Rules that protect the group
What do we do about a conflict of interest, a broken rule, or a disagreement?
بالعربيةسبع قواعد مكتوبة تحمي الجماعة: تضارب المصالح، والجودة، والعقوبات، والدفاتر المفتوحة، والمراجعة، والخلافات، والاتفاقات المكتوبة.
When to use it
Written when you set up, reviewed every six months.
The framework
| The rule | How it is applied |
|---|---|
| 1. Conflicts of interest are declared | Before every decision, the coordinator asks: does anyone have a personal interest? Whoever declares one doesn't vote, and it goes in the minutes. |
| 2. The same quality for everyone | A sample from every member every month. |
| 3. Sanctions written in advance | First breach: a written warning. Two breaches suspend the right to use the mark for [ ] months. |
| 4. Open books | Every member can look at the association's accounts. |
| 5. A review every six months | What worked? What didn't? What do we change? Who takes which role? |
| 6. Disputes in three steps | A direct conversation between the two sides within a week → the coordinator → a neutral party you chose in advance. |
| 7. Every joint venture in writing | A written agreement (memorandum of understanding), signed and kept up to date. Spoken agreements get forgotten. |
The rule above the rules: applied to everyone the same way, including whoever wrote them.
